Senior Account Manager - IT Sales
Package:
£30k-£60k + uncapped commission

These partners include major companies such as HP Inc, HPE Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Meraki, Microsoft, Barracuda, Mimecast, VMWare, Veeam, and various others.
These strategic alliances allow our client to provide competitive solutions to their loyal customer base, enabling them to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape of today. Their continued success is attributed to their agility, quick decision-making, and unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. Many of our clients' customers, including global multinational corporations leading their respective industries, have remained dedicated to them for over 15 years, underscoring their unique position in the market.
Their current team is comprised of eight highly skilled professionals, each with an average of 15 years of experience within the company. Despite their modest size, they maintain a strong reputation within the IT industry and consistently exceed expectations.
The primary goal of the Account Manager role is to acquire new customers, fostering profitable, long-term growth by establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
• Generating new business through a variety of channels including, but not limited to:
• Through both face-to-face and phone/video call sales efforts.
• Calling lapsed accounts.
• Generating leads generated through marketing campaigns run by the marketing team.
• Generating leads through approved E-mail marketing.
• Generating leads through LinkedIn marketing such as approved posts/blogs.
• Networking at in-person events.
• For newly acquired customers, increasing the initial share of wallet with a consultative approach and providing proposals to meet the customers' mid- and long-term requirements.
• Maintaining up to date records including, but not limited to:
• CRM with accurate contact details and summary of meeting outcomes
• All quotations to be done via CRM.
• Integrating with the Operations and Delivery Teams to ensure customers always experience an excellent post-sales service.
• Compliance with GE policies and procedures as stated in the contract of employment and the Employee Handbook.
What you'll bring:
• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets as an individual contributor.
• 5 - 10 years' experience as a sales executive at an IT reseller.
• Determination to build a portfolio of new customers (as defined before).
• Ability to offer creative solutions, working with Operations and Delivery Leads, where the initial requirements of the client cannot be met.
• Existing certifications in widely adopted technologies, products, and service lines.
What we offer you:
• Base Salary will be market-relevant, depending on previous experience.
• Offering a range of benefits including pension scheme and healthcare insurance.
• There is no upper limit on the Commission payable.
• OTE is in the range of 50% to 100% of base salary.
• Based on your results and aptitude, there is a progression path to Sales Leadership of a sales team and ultimately Company Management.
• You will work from home and visit prospects and customers as needed. You will need to attend regular in-person meetings with the entire sales team and the Operations and Delivery Leads as well as training days in London.
