Our client is a leading Business Finance Lender, they provide flexible finance solutions tailored to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UK. They offer innovative financial products designed to help businesses thrive.

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships. You'll ensure client satisfaction, drive revenue growth, and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional financial products. This position requires a client-focused, proactive approach with a deep understanding of SME needs.


Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
• Understand each client's business challenges and provide bespoke finance solutions to meet their goals.
• Drive account revenue through upselling and cross-selling financial products, hitting sales targets.
• Ensure high client retention by providing excellent service and anticipating future needs.
• Address client concerns swiftly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
• Work closely with internal teams such as underwriting and credit to ensure smooth application processing and excellent client service.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide relevant, competitive solutions.


Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in account management, ideally within the finance or SME lending sector.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to identify and act on upselling opportunities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
• Experience working with CRM systems and data-driven account management.
