NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Accountancy firm based in Chester to secure a Tax Accountant/ Tax Advisor. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• You must research, analyse and interpret changing tax legislation in both the UK and overseas
• Meet with clients and collate information
• Work with tax law and revenue provisions
• Liaise and negotiate with HMRC on behalf of the client
• Create tax strategies for clients and planning their financial futures
• Carry out detailed computations to calculate tax liability and advise how to minimise a client's liability
• Establish and structure family trusts
• Estate planning and advising on tax residence and domicile matters

Required Skills and Experience:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified accountant
• CTA Qualified is preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
