Stakeholder Relationship Manager
Job description
Our client is building business networks fast across the UK and is now considered one of the leading business Fibre Network providers in the UK. Their network now passes over 25% of all business premises spanning the North West, Yorkshire, The Midlands, The southwest and London.
The Role
The stakeholder relationship manager will be responsible for promoting the network in specific geographies to generate pull through demand for connectivity to enable partners to win in the market. The role holder forms a range of relationships with key stakeholders across the public and private sector to exploit deployed infrastructure or expand the ITS footprint further.
As the relationship manager you'll be expected to understand all elements of your footprint which could affect performance across your area - such as economic and political factors, business influencers/memberships/groups, partner activity, pricing pressures and much more.
Key Accountabilities
·Identify key public sector influencers and stakeholders in the network area to encourage engagement with partners.
·Look for opportunities to expand the networks through infrastructure re-use
·Successfully identify and hand-off new opportunities that may exist in the area to the appropriate partner manager and business development team.
·Having contacted representative bodies like Business Chambers, LEP's and the like, work to access and then become the company spokesperson.
·Deliver sponsorship at local business events, workshops and receptions, working closely with wider stakeholders to host and attend where appropriate.
·Find opportunities to receive inward investment such as Project Gigabit and Voucher Schemes. Recommending Bids to pursue, support their delivery.
