Finance Director - Manchester

NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Financial Services firm based in Manchester to secure a Finance Director. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
·Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
·Lead the financial planning and analysis team to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.
·Manage and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and succession planning.
·Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS).
·Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and external auditors.
·Drive process improvement and efficiency within the finance function.
·Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team on mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
·Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a proven track record in a senior finance role.
·Strong leadership and people management skills.
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·Proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
·In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
·Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand the business drivers.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
