Basic Salary: £24K-£26K + Commission

The Company
My client is looking for an eager, proactive, and personable Business Development Executive to join their established sales team in Greater Manchester. They are a brilliant IT service provider in their 23rd year of selling specialised IT services to business across the country. They are focused on being Dell's largest stockist in the UK, with a Support Team providing outsourced IT Services to the North-west Business Community, creating more jobs and more opportunities. With an open approach to career progression & customer service, the Management Team support all individual's growth, creating a company ethos to be proud of for all that are a part of It.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, your day will have a major emphasis on prospecting new customers as well as helping to grow current customer accounts; this will include booking appointments and selling the companies services and products to the potential new customer. The progression can be rapid for individuals who apply themselves in the right way and aspire to move into supervisory and sales management roles.
What they want from you
- The ability to Up-sell and Cross-sell to prospective customers, as well as current accounts
- Hit monthly GP and revenue-based targets month on month (To be established with Sales Manager)
- Learn the fundamentals of the company
- Learn new sales techniques daily to enhance strategies with prospecting customers and existing accounts
- Enhance knowledge of company sales portfolio (IT services and products: Dell Products etc)
- Have a personable approach with colleagues and prospecting customers
- Ambitious, Enthusiastic, Target driven, and motivated by career progression opportunities
The package
- Up to £26K basic salary + £45K OTE uncapped
- 15%-20% comms structure (to be negotiated with your sales manager)
- 4 weeks of initial full in-depth training including exposure to IT industry, working with the IT Support team, and learning about the full Dell product portfolio
